Yinghuan (Lydia) Lyu

Yinghuan received her bachelor's degree in Biology at Wuhan University in China in 2019. During 2018 to 2020, she worked as a visiting scholar in Martin Burke Lab in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and focused on a project to develop the antifungal drug amphotericin B. Currently Yinghuan is a graduate student in Molecular and Cell Biology Program at Stony Brook University and joined Shroyer Lab in September 2022. As a rotation student before joining the lab, she worked with Chun-Hao Pan and tested drug combinations to work against K17 caused chemoresistance. Currently, she is interested in furthering her understating the mechanisms that regulate K17 metabolic reprogramming.
