MICHAEL HOROWITZ

Research Support Specialist/ Lab Manager

Michael received his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at Stony Brook University in 2020 and his master’s degree in Chemistry at Stony Brook University in 2021. Michael joined the Shroyer lab in November of 2021 to aid in identifying the prognostic relationship between K17, A2ML1, and survival in urothelial carcinoma. Currently, his research focuses on understanding the keratin 17 mechanisms that drive chemoresistance and tumor aggression in pancreatic cancer.
