SRUTHI BABU, MBBS

 

Sruthi graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007 and Clinical Pathology (DCP) in 2014 from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India. She then went on to do Master in Public Health (MPH) from Rutgers University, New Jersey (2015-2017).

At present, she is a graduate student pursuing her PHD from program of Public Health, Stony Brook University and her doctoral training from the lab of Drs. Shroyer and Escobar-Hoyas since 2017.

 

Sruthi has an interest in working on the Cancer biomarker predicting patient outcome. Currently, her work is focused on identifying urine cytology based diagnostic biomarker for bladder cancer and prognostic biomarker in lung and other cancer.
